A Key to Beauty

A Key To Beauty and Semi-Permanent make-up was founded in March 2008 when Sharlene did Semi-Permanent Make-up Training and opened its doors for all Semi-Permanent make-up and Tattoo removals.

Sharlene trained at Warwickshire College Leamington Spa Centre in 2000-2002 studying NVQ Beauty Therapy 1,2 and 3 also qualifying in ear piercing, Indian Head massage, St Tropez tanning, Nail Extensions, Matis Skincare GMT, and super cover make-up. Whilst training to become a therapist Sharlene became a care worker to support the beauty therapy she continued working as a carer even after she Qualified as a Therapist, for a good few years.

She left a fully Qualified therapist in 2002 to start working in a well known Rugby salon where she stayed for 2 and a half years, in that time adding to qualifications by doing Bio Sculpture Gel nails and PHD waxing and Reflexology. Leaving in 2004 due to family commitments.
In 2005 she joined a Newly Opened salon in Rugby where she stayed for near on 3 years again adding to qualifications by doing an intimate waxing course. Taking time out as well to have baby Skyler.
After doing the Semi-Permanent Make-up at the Clinic based at home for near on a year it was clear that there was a demand for Beauty Treatments alongside and A Key To Beauty was Born.
Adding more qualifications by further CPD training such as PHD course and Body Piercing, Sharlene is always one step ahead. Animal Communication was of also of interest and more recently Sharlene complete a course in this.

The latest has seen the introduction of The Body Ultimate Facial Toning Machine in which she is fully qualified. Also becoming Rugby's First Recognised Safe Salon in April 2009 is a massive achievement.

Further to this in July 2009 Sharlene went on a conversion course for nail products NSI and a Drill course for nail enhancements in August 2009.
Another string came to her bow in March 2010 training with the brand new and popular Hot Thermal Shell Treatment ......

There are so many salons in Rugby & Warwickshire areas but A Key To Beauty are unique and different putting the client first and allowing sufficient time with each individual without them feeling rushed or on a conveyor belt.
